About Her

Little Moments Of Bliss is a silhouette of a feeling that resides in my heart. A software engineer by degree, a writer at heart, and a teacher by profession, I'm all that I never thought I would be. Pretty pictures,a poem that blatantly refuses to rhyme, a text from a deranged friend, a sudden gesture of love, its these little things in life, that matter and sprinkle bliss. Grace the couch and share a cuppa!

HandMade by Carousel

A very dear friend of mine, Twisha of OneLife.ManyMoments has dared to live her dream. And I want to help her realize how great it is.
Its the first step.
And all great things start with that one little step.
Visit her Facebook Page and have a look at all the quaint little things she hand picks.
Its like weaving magic into your home decor.

She is simply looking for beauty - the kind that can't be explained - only felt.

I got this box customized for my sunglasses :) Can you spot mine and my blog's name in the doodle ? ;) Quirky, ain't it :)

By now, I'm sure you're dying to know from where to shop.
there you go :)

Thank me later :)
You know where to find me.

Love.

... And it Rained Again !! Part II

I know I've bugged you a lot here and there when it has rained, kindly try not to hate me for it :P
It has rained 'Elephants and rabbits' ('Cats and dogs' doesn't even begin to cover it) today, all over North India :)
Paper boats are back in vogue ;) My darling brother and his Nikon are BFFs again :)
He's too lazy but I coaxed him into capturing some, and they are his best work.

I had forgotten how to make those, mom remembered :)

Yes, that water was all muddy but I couldn't care less :D

Old ladies hang out here every evening :) I wonder how will they kill time today.
This one held my gaze for the longest time

STAY BLESSED !

Life is Uncertain, Eat Dessert First

Read each picture, they all have something to convey :P
Last three are my favorites and 'Saving the best for the last' is the most adorable cliche :)

Post Some Love

I'm an old fashioned girl, I find letters cute. I wrote one to my cousin (who lived in the same city) a couple of years back during my summer break. And as soon as she got it, I made Papa drive me over to her place because I wanted to see how does it feel like receiving one. We read it together and giggled for almost an hour. It was totally lame, but then again, who isn't ? Why hide ? and I was merely 10, or maybe 12 or was it 11 ? Never mind.

Moral of the Story : Go post a letter today, and surprise the ones who are close to your heart. Give that sad lonely mailbox some pleasure.

Serenity

Its 12.27 at night and my heartiest love to all you night people out there.

I generally do not write posts like the one I just began typing but I've let my guard down because of the plain awesomeness of whats happening to me right now. Writing about it is all I can do to restrain myself from walking out of my room in my night dress at this hour.

My room is at the rear end of our home and the plot behind our home is blissfully empty, which makes every noise, every chitter chatter of the road back there, reach our ears ( I meant me and my brother's, Yes love, I have an angel for a brother, Wwwhhaaatt ? You don't know him ? Oh wait, I've never mentioned my brother on this blog, My bad, Well, he deserves to be mentioned in an entire new post, dedicated only to him). My mind has silently pasted a post-it on its wall, shall be done soon :)

Shh Shh Shh back to the current mood, Okay, so I have been telling you about the whereabouts of my room because something very serene is happening to me right now. I can listen to every ( well, almost every) raindrop falling on that road right now, and trust me, it's sheer music to my ears. As they say 'SOME FEEL THE RAIN, OTHERS JUST GET WET'. The cars brushing by the droplets, sudden lightening (the kind that makes the actress jump and very deliberately stick to her boyfriend's chest in bad movies :P).

I know I've dedicated a post to rain already, but why does this feel like something entirely different ? ;)

People always say rain is an over-rated concept, I hereby defy the concerned :P Calling rain over-rated would be the under-statement of the century, rain has hidden a million emotions in its innumerable droplets, It has mystery to it, much more mystery than human mind can handle. My air-conditioner has been depriving me of this pleasure since forever, thanks to my allergic nose and these irritating sneezing fits, I did not switch it on today, else this sweet melancholy would have never reached my ears.

Now I know why mom says ''there is always something good peeping out of a black cloud''

... And it Rained Again !!

One of the loveliest facts about Rain, It never hesitates giving free hugs to any and everybody. It doesn't discriminate.

It's raining folks. No, it can't get any better. Monsoons have struck my part of the country and my happiness knows no bounds. Water, grey sky, that season when mothers forbid their daughters to wear white before going out, those nights when you want to keep the air conditioner to the minimum temperature and stuff yourself with a fur blanket, Oh man, I'm lovin' it all.
I stand in my gallery until that last drop of rain leaves the sky and reaches earth. I feel an urge to pick up a pen and a paper and write an essay on 'The Rainy Day' all over again :D. Umbrellas, heavy sky, onset of winters, Aah  idleness finally offers me some play.
Today, I came out of my long pampered strawberry fragranced bath in the morning and damn, it was raining. I wanted to get wet in the rain but was too lazy to bathe again.
And then, my front porch came to my rescue, once again ;) I made myself half a mug of light coffee with two cubes dairy milk floating in it, the 2-minute noodles in exactly 7 minutes, picked up my chopsticks (I'm totally into learning how to grab food with a chopstick these days), and parked myself quietly in a chair facing the rain.

I still remember, when I was a little girl mom would not let me get wet in the rain because it used to give me a really really bad cold, I used to pick up an umbrella, big enough for even 10 years-older-me and stand on the terrace for as long as it rained. :D
Mom tried to put sense into me saying 'there's no point standing on the terrace with an umbrella when it's raining baby', If I were a little less stubborn that would have surely worked. ;)
To my amazement, rain does not only sprinkle delight and pleasure and mischief all over, it also provides a patient listening ear to the unrested souls.
It is almost like it's whispering 'Lay your trust in me, talk to me, speak your heart out, I'm all ears'. I used to be a very clumsy, grumpy, moody, in short, a sullenly irritable teenager and this post has been written particularly to talk about one special role rain played Oscar-like in my life.Few years back I was not happy with simply anything life was offering, I did not like the food mom cooked, I did not like my school, my friends, my tuitions, my new apparels, nothing at all entertained me.
Then one fine day, it was raining really hard, so hard that it almost hurt. I went to my terrace ,sat quietly on the dome like structure and thought, 'well life isn't that ugly and mean after all.'
Blame my teenage mood swings or my teenage hormonal changes, there was no reason for my grumpiness but rain was surely the reason for me winning the marathon back to being chirpy.

A little message for those who don't like this drizzle, pour your heavy heart out to rain some day, it'll gulp away your sorrows in no time !

ONLY IF RAIN COULD STALK ME FOREVER !!
