About Her

Little Moments Of Bliss is a silhouette of a feeling that resides in my heart. A software engineer by degree, a writer at heart, and a teacher by profession, I'm all that I never thought I would be. Pretty pictures,a poem that blatantly refuses to rhyme, a text from a deranged friend, a sudden gesture of love, its these little things in life, that matter and sprinkle bliss. Grace the couch and share a cuppa!

Chaotic Gleam [55Fiction #6]

The inky sky is a beautiful hazy chaos today. These witty clouds have slyly conspired to send out old unspoken messages  to the universe, basking in their own apparent glory. They look happy and so am I.
For once, I wish the sun wouldn’t peep in, just this once, and then the clouds could rule.

PS - Not much of fiction went into writing this.

... And it Rained Again !! Part II

I know I've bugged you a lot here and there when it has rained, kindly try not to hate me for it :P
It has rained 'Elephants and rabbits' ('Cats and dogs' doesn't even begin to cover it) today, all over North India :)
Paper boats are back in vogue ;) My darling brother and his Nikon are BFFs again :)
He's too lazy but I coaxed him into capturing some, and they are his best work.

I had forgotten how to make those, mom remembered :)

Yes, that water was all muddy but I couldn't care less :D

Old ladies hang out here every evening :) I wonder how will they kill time today.
This one held my gaze for the longest time

STAY BLESSED !

Life is Uncertain, Eat Dessert First

Read each picture, they all have something to convey :P
Last three are my favorites and 'Saving the best for the last' is the most adorable cliche :)

Serenity

Its 12.27 at night and my heartiest love to all you night people out there.

I generally do not write posts like the one I just began typing but I've let my guard down because of the plain awesomeness of whats happening to me right now. Writing about it is all I can do to restrain myself from walking out of my room in my night dress at this hour.

My room is at the rear end of our home and the plot behind our home is blissfully empty, which makes every noise, every chitter chatter of the road back there, reach our ears ( I meant me and my brother's, Yes love, I have an angel for a brother, Wwwhhaaatt ? You don't know him ? Oh wait, I've never mentioned my brother on this blog, My bad, Well, he deserves to be mentioned in an entire new post, dedicated only to him). My mind has silently pasted a post-it on its wall, shall be done soon :)

Shh Shh Shh back to the current mood, Okay, so I have been telling you about the whereabouts of my room because something very serene is happening to me right now. I can listen to every ( well, almost every) raindrop falling on that road right now, and trust me, it's sheer music to my ears. As they say 'SOME FEEL THE RAIN, OTHERS JUST GET WET'. The cars brushing by the droplets, sudden lightening (the kind that makes the actress jump and very deliberately stick to her boyfriend's chest in bad movies :P).

I know I've dedicated a post to rain already, but why does this feel like something entirely different ? ;)

People always say rain is an over-rated concept, I hereby defy the concerned :P Calling rain over-rated would be the under-statement of the century, rain has hidden a million emotions in its innumerable droplets, It has mystery to it, much more mystery than human mind can handle. My air-conditioner has been depriving me of this pleasure since forever, thanks to my allergic nose and these irritating sneezing fits, I did not switch it on today, else this sweet melancholy would have never reached my ears.

Now I know why mom says ''there is always something good peeping out of a black cloud''

Victims of Cupid

***

Enveloped in the strong hold of his arms, letting them protect her from evil, laying in them, and reciprocating, was all she desired. She knew his arms were her Castle and his Heart was her Sky. She was the undisputed queen of his heart. Resting in them, getting drenched in his toxic scent, always took her to a dream-world dotted by little angels, that sprinkled love all over with their magic wand. There was something about the way he slept, so serene, so subtle, so angelic, that gave her an adrenaline rush. She could hear a million words in his little gestures, and they made her feel like a Duchess, irrevocably and hopelessly in love with her Duke. She silently tip-toed her way to the rest room, slid out of her satin night dress and situated herself in her hot bath. A few minutes later, silently walking bare foot into the room,

**It so smells like him everywhere**

leaving behind trails of dripping water droplets along her way to their bed, she planted a sweet motherly kiss on his forehead to wake him up. He opened his eyes, soaked in the exquisite view of his beautiful duchess, gave a child-like mischievous curve to his perfect lips, that made him look disturbingly desirable and held her close to his chest. Ecstasy blanketed them. How they wished, time stopped, and they devour each other's presence and love forever. Few blissful heavenly moments later, he gently pressed his lips to hers and strode out of the bed. The call of the daily chores could not be ignored any more.

She sent a silent prayer to her God 'Gracious, for making him walk into my life'.

I have no clue what made my fingers type the above write-up but I thought it was time I made my thoughts see the light of the day. And my future knight in a matt-finish armor (shiny armors are so out of the game), I hope you fill my life with such love one day !

P.S. Cascada's 'Everytime we Touch' tingles every romantic molecule of my being whenever my headphones bring it to my ears. Do check it out, though I'm sure you must have heard it. :)

My Peanut-butter Cookies

The pleasurable sight of my little two-and-a-half year old babies, my nephew and my neice, ready to scratch each other's angel faces with their not so big nails, fighting over who will play 'NinJump' in my phone first, almost made me speak out aloud 'This is definitely going into my blog'.

Do you all feel about babies the same way or is it just me ? I hope it isnt just me.Their little giggles make my whole room want to dance its heart out to their rhythm. Did I see that hair brush have a ball with my 'pink, overcrowded with flowers' comb ? No, I guess no.

And in future, if my husband ever complains about me being a huge snuggler, all the blame will be destined to my babies.
Those little petite hands open for a huge hug and brought apart as wide as they can, form my little moment of bliss. To kiss their pinky pink 'smooth as satin' soft cheeks. Lift them up and they hold on to me like it was all they will ever desire, is serenity.
My angelic girl is named 'Gauri' and my naughty boy is called 'Krishu'.

One calm boring day, mom came up to my room, smashed the door against my purple wall, which still bears an incision of the incident, ( If I would have opened it like that, I would have been dead, LITERALLY DEAD ), and proudly declared 'We have a new baby-girl in the family'.

There was nothing I could do to control my elation. The anticipation of holding that little bundle of joy in my arms, caressing it, almost made me schizophrenic. Yes, it did. Gauri was born 10 years after her parents got married, and when I saw her, I instantly knew why. That baby was dazzlingly beautiful. And all I could tell my sister was 'Now you know why ;) ?'

Check out those blue nails :P
The Almighty took 10 long years to bless us with this absolute look-alike of that endearing Barbie you always swooned for when you were three, but I totally understand. She must've consumed a lot of his attention and time. :)).

Two years since that miracle and I'm sure Gauri has a little corner of her room filled with hearts, for she steals the heart of every pair of eyes that see her. My baby sure knows how to kiss and mesmerize.

Two little secrets I very desperately want to unveil about her (they make me giggle right now :)) are :

1. Gift her a nail paint, she'll plant the sweetest wettest honey-like kiss on your cheek the very next second.
2. Gift her a HOT PINK nail paint, she'll give you as many as you want and share her toys too :).

One month after Gauri came into our lives, I was barely getting over the news, and there came my second baby :) Aryan Bhatia, sophisticated as it sounds, lovingly called 'krishu' :)). He opened his eyes for the first time in a far away land, special mention and thanks to Ray Tomlinson (founder of E-mail :D) ,I found his first pictures in my inbox an hour later.

Krishu's first picture :)
Graceful, calm, svelte. Almost a debonair. Waiting and waiting and endless waiting took a toll. Receiving his pictures ever since and dying to hug him, feel his heartbeat against mine, God finally granted my wish and my baby is here now :)).

I've spent just two-and-a-half days with this two-and-a-half year old wonder kid and he already seems to have cast a spell on me. And his super super super cute american accent drives me totally crazy.

That selfish left corner of my heart, wants them to remain kids forever, need me all the time and plan as many mischiefs as they can. Sigh. that isn't possible.
I have so much more to pen down about them, but I'm sure, had they been a little more than five, they wouldn't have wanted me to disclose their naughty tricks and secrets to the world.

I love them. forever. :*

P.S. May everyone, be it simply anybody who reads this post, have babies soon :D:D
